Infant Feeding Education & Support

Infant Feeding Education & Support

I am a trained, registered and experienced Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. I have supported women with positioning and attachment, thrush, mastitis, blocked ducts, feeding multiples, balancing mixed feeding and those exclusively expressing and bottle feeding. As part of my postnatal care, I use my knowledge to support my clients with infant feeding, including responsive bottle feeding. I work to ensure appropriate breastfeeding support is available to ALL women, this includes signposting to free services local to you.

As I have trained with The Breastfeeding Network and am a registered Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. I can use this knowledge to support you with breastfeeding as a doula.

It is the very essence of The Breastfeeding Network that support is offered free of charge, that support is free from any commercial influence and that the organisation is accessible to all. It is crucial that these principles are upheld and are seen to be upheld. Therefore breastfeeding education and support is included free of charge within the birth package hours, however, if additional postnatal hours are requested by a client, and within these hours my breastfeeding knowledge is required I will charge for my time as per my usual postnatal doula fees.

 – I also offer stand-alone 2-hour Antenatal, Educational and Preparation sessions where we discuss the mechanics of breastfeeding as well as debrief about previous breastfeeding history. Please get in touch to find out more –
